Resident Block Management Software

We helped the Resident team to build its online presence ahead of launching a new version of its property management portal, an innovative but specialised product that would only be relevant to a particular niche market. We spent time upfront to understand the company and its values, and who the ideal customers would be, and worked out keywords that we would continually use throughout any web and print copy, embed in the website’s SEO, and weave into social media posts, newsletters and brochures.

Working with Torpedo Juice who designed this innovative web platform, we wrote the website copy as part of the overall content marketing strategy: embedding the same keywords in both the copy and the metatags and using language that reflected the company’s values and brand. The web copy was written in such a way that it could also be pulled out to use in brochures and mailouts, and we designed and wrote email sales campaigns to back up the online activity and a brochure for use post launch.  

We researched relevant sites and publications and built relationships with active industry bloggers so that we could post content and rely on them to help us promote it. We also invited industry figures to write guest blogs that would further establish Resident as a leading source of useful industry knowledge. 

 As part of the integrated content marketing strategy for this startup, we wrote regular blog posts which gave us some great content to post about on social media. Using Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook and posting at different times of day maximised our audience reach. In three months we tripled follower numbers on each of the platforms. In the week following the new website launch, we ran a giveaway with a hashtag and a link to the site which at its peak was retweeted 41 times in one day.

The website achieved the number one spot in Google search rankings within 14 days, with 42% of the traffic from social media, according to Google Analytics.  By delivering a truly integrated content strategy, in the three months before launch, we had grown follower numbers by two thirds across each social media platform and new enquiries about the product were coming in at a rate of two a week. We've also written scripts and recorded "How to" video guides for the site's knowledge bank and help section.
